FAQ - Cork
1. We’ve got sealed cork flooring in our lounge. However, it’s not particularly shiny. What can I do?
The most suitable product for sealed cork floors is emsal Perfect Shine, preferably if it is applied regularly, diluted 1:1 in water. The glossy effect takes a while to develop.
2. I’ve got unsealed cork flooring. What’s the best way to clean it?
Uncoated cork flooring needs to be protected with an impregnating product. emsal Laminate is ideally suited for this purpose. Whenever you wet-wipe your floor, add some product to your water and make sure the cloth is only slightly damp.
3. Why can’t I use emsal Parquet on my cork floor?
emsal Parquet contains wax that is unsuitable for cork flooring, whereas emsal Laminate is ideal. The best way to clean a cork floor is to add some emsal Laminate whenever you give it a wet wipe, as this has an impregnating and therefore protective effect.
